Private houses, at Dalvian gated community, 2017
The house occupies the entire lot and the premise was that the garden surrounded the building, only with foliage, and without any flowers. Only the bloom of dietes was allowed. We xeriscaped using very few repeated species as brushstrokes that changed in color according to the season. The plants selected needed low irrigation and were adapted to poor soils with a high salt concentration.
These images were taken one year after the garden had been planted.
