Dante Robino Winery
Perdriel, Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza. Argentina, 2011
The landscaping treatment has to do with a sustainable water management in this hundred-year-old winery, located in the cultivated oasis of Mendozaís main productive zone, on a street of large patrimonial value for LujŠn de Cuyo due to its role in wine and social history. The irrigation of gardens and poplar groves is done with recycled water from the winery. First used in the winemaking process, this water is then treated and separated to be re-used in the irrigation of green spaces, providing beauty and ecosystemic value while saving a much-needed resource. Achieving this success has been the result of three years of trials (whose outcomes went from bad to regular and, from there, to optimum), and it brings us much joy.
