Native Vegetation areas at Alpasion Wine & Lodge
Large isles and wide paths of natural vegetation are kept among the vineyards at Alpasion Wine & Lodge, a wine and tourism endeavor that consists of vineyards and lodge, with a projected future winery. These areas are ecological niches for the native fauna that visits and embellishes our gardens, which are composed of native plants and non-native plants adapted to height and dryness. Both ecosystems interact, mutually benefiting each other and growing at a quick pace. The non-native plants we use in the gardens do not possess aggressive traits, such as a high self-seeding capacity. This is why they do not compete with the native vegetation, which we find highly beneficial.
